The entity that examines is not the entity that grants.

This section covers the management-system certification services of Global Energy Up. Its decisions, registers and complaints belong to that entity alone and do not pass through Energy Up International.

Management-system certification services are delivered by Global Energy Up. Energy Up International does not issue management-system certificates.

Why this matters to you

Separation is not paperwork. It is the value.

It means the body examining your environmental claim is not the body granting your system a certificate. That is exactly what makes each of them worth something. A group that certified and verified the same client with the same people would be selling two opinions on its own work.

Rules
Logo rule

The ISO logo is not used here, and should not be used by you.

ISO develops standards; it does not perform certification and does not permit its logo to be used in connection with certification without authorization. Only approved Global Energy Up certification-programme graphics and properly licensed accreditation symbols are used. Reference: ISO name and logo policy.

No. Management-system certification services are delivered by Global Energy Up, as a separate certification body with its own contracts, audits, technical review and certification decisions. Energy Up International performs validation and verification only.

They are different conformity-assessment activities under different standards, and a certification decision must not be influenced by a verification relationship, or the reverse. Keeping the entities, the contracts and the decisions separate is what preserves the value of both.

No single engagement produces both outcomes. They are contracted separately, performed separately and decided separately, even where the same client needs both.

The certification body does, through its own process: audit, independent technical review, then an authorised certification decision taken by someone who neither performed the audit nor the review.

Common questions

The questions that come before a contract.

These are the questions we are actually asked before an engagement starts. If yours is not here, ask it directly — a straight answer costs both sides less than a wrong assumption.

Request a pre-engagement review

Every question, in one place

Describe the claim — not the service.

Tell us what must be relied on, who will rely on it and by what date. We will confirm the correct programme, evidence requirement and responsible entity — or tell you it is outside our scope.
