Four lines that get you a useful answer.
The fastest route to a real answer is not a service name. It is four lines: what must be relied on, who will rely on it, by what date, and who prepared it. With those, we can usually tell you at first reply whether the request is inside our scope — and if it is not, where it should go instead.
What is being asserted, for whom, for which period and boundary, and what the intended user requires. That is enough to tell you whether the request is inside our accredited scope before anyone talks about price.
No. A pre-engagement review comes first, so that both sides know whether the request is inside scope, what evidence exists and what depth of testing the risk requires. A quotation without that is a guess.
Its purpose is to establish whether we can act at all. What it covers and any cost are stated in writing before it starts — nothing begins on an assumption.
