We examine what cannot be believed without examination.
Companies are now asked for environmental numbers by parties who do not accept assertions: European buyers, lenders, regulators and carbon markets. An unexamined number is not accepted in any of those rooms.
We have no interest in your number being high or low.
Our only interest is that it is correct and that it survives the next person who examines it. That is the whole commercial proposition of a verification body, and it is destroyed the moment the body also builds, corrects or sells solutions for the thing it examines.
- We issue validation and verification statements under the activities recorded in our accreditation schedule.
- We work to the ISO 14064-3:2019 method, at an assurance level agreed before we start and stated in the statement.
- We separate the engagement team, the independent reviewer and the person who takes the decision.

At any price- Build your inventory or your calculation file
- Propose corrections or write an “action” column
- Issue management-system certificates
- Work outside the activities recorded in the schedule
- Accept an engagement with an untreated conflict of interest
How this should be read
If a provider offers to calculate your inventory and then verify it, the second output is worth nothing: it is a review of their own work. Our refusal to do the first is what makes the second defensible. The same logic runs through the entire group — advisory, certification and verification sit in different legal entities with different decisions and different registers.
