Improve energy performance through measurable control.

ISO 50001:2018 — Energy Management Systems. Energy savings that cannot be measured cannot be defended — to a board, to a lender, or to a regulator. ISO 50001 examines whether energy performance is actually managed against a baseline, or simply reported after the fact.

What the certificate does not mean

The limit, plainly.

Certification does not mean your product conforms and does not mean your performance is excellent. It means your management system met the requirements of the standard at the assessment date, within the scope and sites shown on the certificate.

ISO 50001 certification is not emissions verification. If what you need is an examined emissions figure, that is organizational GHG verification, and it is issued by a different entity.

Management-system certification services are delivered by Global Energy Up. Energy Up International does not issue management-system certificates.
